Not a fan of incomplete stories

And this book just ended without a conclusion to the story. I feel cheated that I'd have to buy another book to get my romance, so I probably won't. If new authors want us to take a risk and try their stories...The should write a COMPLETE STORY.

not the best story

The best I can say about this story is at least I only paid 99 cents for it. The story was given so many five star reviews I thought it must be a good book. It also sounded like a good story ( troubled country star falls in love while hiding out from her troubled past... ). The story was written more for teenagers. If you are over the age of 30 this story will more than likely not do it for you. There was this double sided narrative that made the scenes painfully long and go on forever. Plus the problems between the two characters were stupid. I also found it hard to believe that nobody recognized a famous country star who was on the cover of tabloid magazines just because she cut her hair. In the end I just did not care about their story and found myself not finishing this book. There are just to many good books to waste my time on this one.

I'm sorry but this story really didn't do it for me. The writing, although mediocre wasn't absolutely horrible, I found all the mistakes so distracting that I either; couldn't understand what the author was trying to convey. Or, I spent too much time correcting grammatical errors. No one is perfect, and I expect a few errors but I couldn't ignore it throughout the story.
The heroine also wasn't my type of girl. She was weak, crying in every scene where she and Cole tried to have an adult conversation, and didn't seem to redeem herself in the story at all. The plot was mediocre as well and although I liked the secondary characters I found questions about their characters that weren't answered.
Does Lacey have a disability?
What happened with her and Wyatt?
Does Beau ever meet Violet?
And I understand that Cole doesn't allow country music to be played at his bar but how come no one else in North Carolina
Recognized Violet? If she's a famous country singer cutting her hair shouldn't make invisible. Maybe these things will be explained in the second book but I won't waste my money to find out.
