Was extremely surprised! Fantastic!

I loved this book!
This is about Nick and Ilana who meet in what seems at the beginning in a very familiar way. She is a stripper who is trying to earn enough money to finish her MBA, get her mom the surgery she so desperately needs to walk again and is just trying to make it in New York. She has been out of work for awhile and she doesn’t find a job soon she will need to move back home to Vermont. Ilana’s best friend is a stripper at a gentleman’s membership only club and talks Ilana into auditioning. Ilana a dancer as well finally caves and goes to audition – almost doesn’t get the job but a mysterious client persuades the owners to take a chance on her and she is hired. Nick of course is the mysterious wealthy (I might add) client.
Nick is young and wealthy who made his billions with a tech start up in which he sold for billions of dollars. He is in the process of looking at a new venture (one is in the works) and likes to take business associates to the club. He takes an interest in Ilana – they have a great amount of chemistry but both have been hurt in the past and they agree to take things slow and become friends and let their feelings grow from there.
There are so many things I love about this book – Nick and Ilana are great together. Not only is there a physical attraction they really do become friends. This is the first book I have read of Erika Rhys and I found her writing smart, witty and fun. The dialog between the two of them is fantastic. In fact the dialog throughout the book is fantastic. Erika does a great job with character development throughout, so for each character she introduces I knew they were there for a reason good or bad and I mean very bad. I don’t want to give to much away but there is a major cliffhanger at the end that is extremely frustrating for multiple reasons that I cant get into without spoilers.
I know cliffhangers like this sometimes put people off and to be honest I can be one of those people. I do hope you take the time to read this book – its well worth it.

Finding Love ? ... In the Big Apple.

Erika has done it again. I truly enjoyed this book and will be on pins and needles for the next 2 volumes.
Bianca and Ilana have been best friends forever. They know each other and are always there for the other in good times and bad . Ilana has lost her job and not had any luck finding a new one. As months go by she decides to take her roommate up on the offer to audition at The Gentlemen's Club. Ilana needs money to live , finish her MBA and most importantly get money for her mothers surgery to help her walk again.
Ilana gets the job after HAWT Playboy Nick Santoro lets the powers at be know he wants her hired.
Nick has a past and a reputation that Bianca warns Ilana about . She also has issues off the bat with some of the girls since she is getting special favors at the club. Ilana tries to keep her distance but fate and circumstances make it harder for her to resist. As they give in to their connection they learn about each other and their pasts. Nicks past comes out and they bond over many parts, but the dark side starts to unveil and they are faced with challenges that push them to the limits... Can their love survive??
This is a very good story with depth and great character development . I would recommend even with a cliffhanger as with all Erikas stories I have read thus far, they are definitely worth the wait.

Nick and Ilana

The story of an intelligent and beautiful women who got laid off and is struggling to find a job. Has applied to many places with no luck. Bills are due, her mother needs money for an expensive and experimental surgery that will help her walk again. She finds herself desperate and in need of money. Her best friend suggest she come and work with her at the gentleman's club where she can make a lot of money to send to her mom and be able to finish her MBA. This is where she meets Nick.
Nick is a business man, all sexy, good looking and there is an instant attraction between them. They develop a friendship that soon turns into a relationship. There story is sweet. they are trying to take things slow, get to know each other on a personal level and soon this intensifies.
You will have to get the book and read it for yourself as I don't want to give to much away. This is a must read and you won't regret getting it. The cliffhanger at the end, let's just say I can't wait for #2 to come out.
